The title bar, etc. is this really obnoxious blue and I'd like to change it to something else. I can't find the answer to this anywhere, except for "try themes," except those don't work either. I imagine there's a setting in about:config.

I do not need or want AI. The vast majority of firefox users, many of whom transferred to get away from AI, would agree. What for, anyway? To name tab groups? How is that worth spiking the use of my CPU and power? I switched to firefox *years* ago for one reason: it runs much better than chrome and it was committed to privacy and such. I know there are options to turn off these and the other AI features but with the CEO's desire to make firefox a "modern AI browser" I fear it will only get worse. How long will it stay optional? I might as well leave now and get used to waterfox, before firefox becomes utterly enshittified and unusable.

Firefox is already running old Firefox must be closed. I have tried everything in the help menu. delete parent.lock , restarting etc. nothing is working. I can create new profile but i cant find any toolbar, bookmarks etc please help

I'm using a macbook pro, running OS 14.6.1. Firefox is my default browser.

For quite some time now, whenvever I'm attempting to make an online purchase, once my payment information is entered, it just hangs, and either takes as much as 10 minutes for the purchase to go through, or it never goes through, it just keeps spinning. This is the case regardless of what website I'm ordering from, and regardless of what credit card i use.

When I switch browsers to Chrome (which i prefer not to do), it all works seamlessly and immediately.

My Firefox browser is up to date. My OS is a little out of date, deliberately, because of many reports that the current update can actually slow things down. But in spite of this, I have no trouble with anything except trying to make a purchase.

I have upgraded my Firefox to version 146 and I have a disruptive color of active bookmark in left sidebar. How could I change this color into moderate one - dark grey.

Thanks to the new CEO of Mozilla moving on with the enshitification of Mozilla Firefox and deciding to shove AI-bloatware down the throat of your users I will cease supporting Mozilla vocally--in person and on social media. The greater portion of your users are not wanting the lackluster addition of any AI into the browser. A "modern AI browser" will become a lesser product overall and will only encourage your users to find a better browser.

And of course there's no "Contact Us" anymore. I don't even expect this to reach a human.

Firefox will become what all the other browsers are: a turd in an already filled sewer.

When I updated to Firefox 146 yesterday, the theme I was using disappeared and I ended up making a new theme using Firefox Color. I submitted it to the add-ons list and it has now been accepted, so now I am using it installed from the add-ons. Ever since I started using the new theme, even before installing it from the add-ons menu, my private browsing window is also using that theme. I want private browsing to use the default dark theme. That way I can easily tell if I'm using the private window or the regular Firefox window. However, I can't find a way to change a setting to go back to the dark window for private browsing. I've already checked about:config and browser.theme.dark-private-windows is set to true. I even toggled it to false and then back to true but there is no change. I looked at the settings for the extension Firefox Color, and it is turned off for private windows. I looked at the settings under the theme add-ons, but I don't see a setting there to turn it on or off for private windows. Am I missing something?

I am now on the very latest version, 146.0.1, and my private browsing window is still using the same theme as my regular window.

I know I can't speak for all Firefox users, but one of the main draws to using this browser for myself and many others has been that it took a firm stance AGAINST data theft, user tracking, bloat, and other insidiously invasive practices present in other browsers that make them glorified spyware. Integrating genAI features throws all of that out the door, and deeply threatens the product's identity in its consumer base. These are features we do not want or need and will likely drive many proud Firefox users to seek alternatives. Please reconsider

When I open the Firefox browser, it asks me for a password and gives two options: Sign In and Cancel. Normally, if I enter the correct password, I can access the browser. If I press Cancel, access should be denied and the browser should close. However, this is not happening. When I press Cancel, the popup window disappears, but anyone can still use the browser, although they cannot access the saved autofill passwords. Could you help address this bug or issue?

Recently started having odd behavior from FF, crash sometimes when opening a video in PIP, crash every single time I open a new private window with hotkey.

Had some freezing as well as right-click menus not showing options, those went away by enabling HW acceleration.

Can I downgrade to 144.0 without losing profiles/settings/passwords and history? Do I just download the 144.0 installer or is there a different process for downgrading? (I am assuming this could help exclusively based on the bugzilla refrence, it might not)

Not sure what else to do, FF is still freezing after watching videos for a few minutes, I am not even sure if this is strictly a FF issue or a Win 11 issue.

"hi yes we're firefox, a private browser that prides ourselves on being without bloatware. but we're going to add ai integration! yay!" Are you kidding me? What is wrong with you? This new CEO joins and wants to destroy what Firefox *prides itself on* and WHY PEOPLE use it. I am very disappointed. I converted to Mozilla from Google years ago and have loved it ever since. It's such an absolute shame; I will have to find a new company to support. Was the point of Mozilla not to create private, secure programs? Do not integrate AI. We don't want it. We hate it. It's useless and it kills the earth. And I sure as heck won't be comfortable storing my passwords in my account anymore! You will destroy this.

I am very much against the utility of modern day AI for the Firefox Browser. More often than not, integration of AI has lead to several consumers having their data read and used against their consent, which leads to both ethical and privacy issues. Firefox as a browser has no need for AI, especially when it lacks its own search engine and thus relies on sites such as Google and DuckDuckGo which already make use of modern day AI.

I implore you to rethink the decision of integrating AI into the Firefox Browser. It is, truthfully, more trouble than it is worth and lacks trust from consumers.
